TRAC Builders served as the general contractor for the comprehensive renovation and expansion of Butterfield Dining Hall, located on the University of Rhode Island’s Kingston campus. The project entailed a gut renovation of approximately 10,000 square feet of the existing dining and servery area and included constructing a 7,500-square-foot main-level addition, along with a 2,000-square-foot upper-level lounge with roof-deck access. Butterfield Dining Hall has achieved LEED Silver certification and contributed to national recognition for URI Dining Services.
