The Nathanael Greene Elementary School in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, underwent a comprehensive renovation, transforming the original 1916-built facility into a modern, safe, and energy-efficient learning environment. The project encompassed extensive interior and exterior improvements, such as new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; energy-efficient windows; upgraded fire safety systems; and the addition of an elevator and air conditioning on the first and second floors. Exterior enhancements included new play areas, masonry restoration, and a redesigned bus drop-off area to improve traffic flow and safety. The renovation also introduced two state-funded pre-kindergarten classrooms, each equipped with dedicated restrooms and direct access to outdoor play areas, aligning with Rhode Island’s early childhood education goals.
