TRAC Builders served as the general contractor for Kingstown Crossings, an affordable housing community in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, developed for Crossroads Rhode Island. The project transformed a former Navy housing site into a vibrant residential neighborhood, delivering 104 energy-efficient apartments in a mix of one- to four-bedroom units. In addition to the residences, the development includes a childcare center, on-site management office, and shared community spaces designed to support families and foster connection. The development achieved LEED for Homes Gold certification, featuring energy-efficient appliances, environmentally responsible stormwater systems, and landscaped areas that encourage outdoor activity. Careful attention was given to blending modern amenities with long-term affordability and sustainability goals, ensuring the project would serve as a lasting resource for families in need.
