TRAC Builders served as the general contractor for the transformation of Paragon Mill, a historic mill complex located in Providence’s Olneyville neighborhood. This ambitious project converted more than 120,000 square feet of industrial space into a vibrant mixed-use community while preserving the mill’s historic character. The redevelopment included the creation of 101 residential units, approximately 2,800 square feet of commercial space, and a variety of shared indoor and outdoor amenities. TRAC navigated the challenges of working within a historic structure, ensuring that original architectural details were maintained while delivering contemporary finishes and layouts to meet the needs of today’s residents. Paragon Mill now stands as a striking example of adaptive reuse, providing new housing opportunities and community space while honoring the mill’s industrial past. TRAC is proud to have played a central role in delivering this award-winning project, which contributes to the revitalization of the Olneyville neighborhood and demonstrates our expertise in large-scale historic rehabilitation and multifamily construction.
