QUONSET APRON REHABILITATION

TRAC Builders completed the extensive Apron Rehabilitation at Quonset State Airport in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, working within the secure Air National Guard area. The project involved improvements to the concrete ramp and adjacent taxilane, focusing on restoring the structural integrity of pavement surfaces and upgrading supporting infrastructure. Our team managed all phases of construction in strict compliance with FAA standards and security protocols, ensuring that all work was completed without disrupting ongoing airport operations. Adherence to precise tolerances and construction phasing plans was critical to meeting project requirements and maintaining operational readiness for the Air National Guard.

C-130 APRON & DEICING STATION

TRAC Builders constructed a specialized aircraft deicing station at the Quonset Air National Guard Base, supporting safe and environmentally compliant operations for C-130 aircraft. The project included excavation of the apron, installation of concrete structures, electrical infrastructure, and a dedicated drainage and glycol collection system designed to capture and manage deicing runoff. TRAC also installed new aircraft tie-downs engineered specifically for C-130 aircraft and completed associated civil and site improvements to enhance apron functionality. All work was performed within a high-security military installation, requiring strict coordination and adherence to operational and security protocols.
